One girl has been very sad, since her 18 year old cat died the day before. The paperfolding helped her to forget about her sorrow for a little while.
About 8 kids folded on two days about three hours. Additionally they painted their cards and wrote love letters. They had a lot of fun.
The children understood and memorized the folding steps pretty fast. Most of them wanted to fold several hearts.

On the 14. February we celebrated Valentine`s day at school, encouraged by Elfa and Joan Sallas.
We mainly folded origami hearts created by Francis OW and pop up cards with the second class of the Matthias-Claudius primary school in Muenster-Germany.
We started our project on Friday, to make sure, that all pupils get their hearts done in time, to give them as present to their parents and beloved friends on Monday.
